The Crochet Party was a great success, what a lovely afternoon filled with crochet, new friends, scones, Pimms, laughter and loads of wool!

IMG_0738IMG_0737I have found, especially after Frank was born, that down-time is essential. All too often I get so consumed by emails and deadlines and the children, that I forget why I started all of this in the first place. Having the chance to stop, relax and just crochet for my own enjoyment with friends was exactly what I needed after a rather hectic and difficult few weeks.

It has really sparked excitement for the first retreat in July – it’s creeping up fast! Every day I’m hearing from new suppliers and crafters that are eager to be involved and take part. The welcome packs full of goodies have already been sent out and we can’t wait to meet everybody!

There are still places on the August retreat (which has a super special discount!) and the November retreat as well, for a gorgeously cosy weekend of crochet by the log burning stove. After such an amazing response and selling out so quickly on the first two dates, we have already started with plans for next year! You can head on over to the website to snap yourself up a spot before they’re all gone.
